Here’s Charlie getting his coat sorted

Isn’t he just adorable ? Not my dog but I “dog sat” him a couple of times.

As this is a “pet” blog – here is my grandson and , although now 13 he is adorable too (yes, I know – I’m biased!)

Oh well done - you did it! Even though it's still 'Brrrrr....'

Charlie is a dear little dog. Is he a Westie?

Thank you. Not a Westie, Spritz - Charlie's a Bichon Frieze(sp?). He's absolutely brilliant but I can't have him again - I seriously didn't want to give him back when it was time for him to go home and I missed him something terrible. He gets along so well with my daughters dog and the two together are great fun. Puppydog's a Bichon/Maltese and is right wee cutey pie - didn't get any decent photos of her that day.

Yes, grandsons (and daughters) are great. I love being a Granny. I love walking and so do the granchildren so usually when I have them at least one of the days involves walking. Dylan wants me to climb Ben Nevis with him ! ! I did it about 15 years ago - it was the most boring climb I have ever done and it was raining at the top so there wasn't even a view. We did meet some brilliant people though and all went for a meal, drinks and loads of laughs when we got back to Fort William. Aah . . . might do it again !

Oh NO - not really? I just couldn't. My 'climbing up heights' days are long gone. :-(
I do walk every day with Henry, but mountains are a definite no-no.

By the way, I think it's 'Bichon Frise'. He's still lovely! I'd like to see Puppydog, too. :-)

Of course, Spritz - a frieze goes on the wall ! ! I knew I'd got the spelling wrong but couldn't think what the right one was.
I've not tried anything as strenuous as Ben Nevis for years, so not sure if I'm up to it either - low level walking and coffee shops are much more appealing nowadays. :))

Love your photos, Silver, and it's lovely to read about walking with grandsons . . . that's great that he wants you to climb with him. Our very first grandchild is expected next Spring . . in Melbourne, Australia!! . . . and I've waited so long!
