Heptacodium is an exotic-looking shrub for the garden; but plants are fully hardy and there are numerous reasons to grow it in your garden. With late summer flowers that are creamy-white and deeply fragrant; even when the petals fall, they leave behind colourful pink calyxes. The attractive foliage hang in elegant pairs of glossy green leaves. Grow either as a shrub or compact and manageable tree in the garden, Heptacodium miconioides is ideal for small gardens., quick-growing and easy to maintain. Height: 6m (20'). Spread 3m (10').
