Heritage Collection Cabbage Jersey Wakefield is a compact size and ideal for the raised bed gardener or small gardens. You can easily space four or five of these cabbages closely across the width of an average sized raised bed without overcrowding.
In the kitchen this sweet tender cabbage is perfect for chopping and using raw as an addition to tossed green salads and coleslaw. Early Jersey Wakefield can also be cooked just as you would prepare any of your favorite cabbage recipes.

Cropping: 110 days
Sowing:
Sow March to July at 4 week intervals. Sow seed thinly in well-prepared seedbed 1cm deep in drills 23cm apart.
Growing:
Plant out to 3cm apart each way when large enough to handle about 5 weeks from sowing.
Aftercare:
Water regularly especially in dry periods. Hoe between plants as required.
