Perfect for growing in containers Turnip Atlantic has flatter globe-shaped roots with striking purple crowns and white bases. Ideal harvested whilst young baby turnips used raw make a sweet addition to salads or as a delicious steamed vegetable.
Parsnips are a good source of carbohydrates and are high in Vitamin C and potassium while the dark green leaves are ideal steamed as greens.

Sow: March to August
Sow seeds thinly direct outside or in containers 13mm; sow regularly for fresh roots throughout spring summer and autumn.

Growing: Thin as necessary for small succulently sweet roots.

Aftercare: Keep well watered during dry weather.
