HRH Prince of Wales created Duchy Originals in 1990 due to his belief in the clear advantages of organic farming; the production of natural and healthy foods and sound agriculture which helps to regenerate and protect the countryside and wildlife.
Pea Ambassador organic seeds produce high yields of dark green medium-sized blunt pods; these are great cooked with a sprig of fresh garden mint.

Sow March to June regularly every 3 weeks for continuous summer crops. Sow in well prepared soil in a sunny spot in wide drills 5cm deep and spaced about 5cm apart allowing 75cm between each row. Support growing plants with pea and bean netting or pea sticks and water regularly particularly once flowering starts. Harvest June to August; pick pods regularly to extend the cropping period. These have good powdery mildew resistance.
