Carrot Flyaway are delicious eaten raw just pulled from the earth and washed. Carrots make a healthy nutritious addition to your daily diet and are high in Vitamin A and beta-carotene and rich in antioxidants.

Sow March to July at monthly intervals for continuous crops in a well prepared sunny spot. Sow thinly 13mm deep in broad drills 30cm apart. Thinning is not necessary for 'bunching carrots' for larger roots thin to 2.5cm apart and keep well watered.Harvest June to October as required. Later sowings for maturing in the Autumn can be lifted and stored in trays of dry sand or compost in the shed or garage.These are bred for resistance to carrot root fly.
