Herb Seeds Sorrel

Young leaves should be picked regularly for fresh salads and will add a tart flavour to a mixed leaf salad.
It is best to pick leaves whilst smaller as bitterness increases with larger older leaves.

A perennial usually grown as a hardy annual will grow in any soil preferably in full sun.

Sow March to May or fortnightly for salad leaves harvest regularly from early summer to frosts.
Sow thinly 12mm deep in drills 30cm apart.

Growing instructions:
Thin seedlings if necessary when large enough to handle to 15cm apart.
Keep ground weed free and water during any dry periods. Harvest 6-8 weeks after sowing selecting a few leaves from each plant.
