Smashing, thank you Sheila!

I watched it last night Sheila - one of the more interesting episodes in my opinion. I loved the feature on lawns and the origin of mowers . . . :o)

I liked that too Sb. Interesting mowers. I love the way his dog follows him everywhere, worth watching just to see that.

Sounds great ... I recorded it as I had a Zoom quiz so will watch it later.

It was an interesting one..I thought the young girl with the allotment was doing well as it was quite a sizeable plot! I also thought allotments were much smaller..
The lawn section was also interesting.

I agree Kate, it was a very large area she had, and didn't she tend it all so well. And she had just managed to get her perfect job as a gardener at a country house. In fact I thought she'd make a good presenter on GW!

That’s exactly what I thought Janey! She was quietly confident, relaxed and so good with words that I said “watch out Monty”! A real find.

I’m now looking for some Nasturtium seeds to sow ... I’m sure I’ve got some somewhere ...

Definitely!!! She is quite an inspiration, especially to younger folks out there! You could tell she was very happy, especially having her dream job on top of the amazing allotment!

Yes, it was a really interesting episode last night, I enjoyed it all. It gave me extra encouragement to get out and do a bit more in the garden today. The girl with the allotment was inspirational, I wish her every success, she’s got what it takes!🌹

I have just watched it on catch up TV. I missed it last night and only saw five minutes at the end of the programme.
