Anemone for Sunnydais

This is the Japanese anemone that I mentioned . . . it’s giving a really pretty splash of colour at this rather dull time of year. (A. Ruffled Swan I think)

A little ray of sunshine!

Love my dish with trailing geraniums and mini petunia ‘million bells’ (I can’t spell the other name beginning with ‘C’!) – just found it: Calibrachoa πŸ™‚

Acer with coral bark

Not a bad day for October – at least it isn’t raining :)

Those anenomes are so lovely, and bushy too! I'm loving ours, they are so sturdy, don't flop in the rain.

We had rain this morning but dry this afternoon so I was out re-potting plants which is always fun.

Your garden looks so mature already! The anemones are grand. Wild Swan has been on my wish list for a while - this one must be related.

A very pretty view of your garden and I also love your dish of flowers on the table.
Sunshine and heavy showers here but a very clear night sky now.

Thanks Sue - yes, the anemone is related and called Ruffled Swan. I have had my β€œwild swans” for two years and even found a seedling recently. They are amazing - flowering all summer . . . hope you find one soon :)

Thanks very much Chris :)

Its amazing how well you did with your garden Sheila, considering its relatively new to you, everything looks as though its all been in situ for years, I love white in a garden, it brightens up a dull day doesn't it and we've had plenty of those in the last month, saying that it has perked up for us in the last few days, your dish is lovely, thankyou for naming the plant, I only knew it as million bells, lol....

Thank you for your lovely comments Sue. That one plant has lifted my spirits every day since I bought it . . . luckily in my eye-line from my favourite chair πŸ™‚.
