I sat in the garden and had a coffee today thinking of all the treats in store. It is great seeing flowers, shrubs and trees appear in bloom.

Thanks Linda, you’re right . . . and I did exactly the same, appreciating the exceptional Spring sunshine.

I too sat outside, and I watched a skylark in the sky...what a beautiful song they have...such a wonderful sign of spring.

Thanks Karen - how lovely to see the skylark. The only place I’ve seen them is the Orkneys.

Thank you Eileen ... your Polemoniums are looking very healthy and are seeding around: thanks again :)

Best place to be Sheila, the gardens are all looking stunning at the moment, Amelanchiers are one of my favourites, mine is out and I admire it every time I look down my garden...

All looks colourful in your garden Sheila. I have some Iberis but am starting to think I may need to keep it in check. It seems to have a wandering habit!

Thank you Shirley . . . yes, Iberis can slowly spread, but the white flowers are a joy at this time of year :)

Still chilly today ... we went along to Bognor this morning and the tide was high with big waves rolling in ... very dramatic!
