This is Ammi majus, which resembles your carrot plant a little bit (aka Milkweed that was).

Got distracted by a balloon floating by

Island bed

Tub

Sorry this is so short, but I need a drink (obviously that’s a CUP OF TEA). x

That Ammi is lovely Sheila.

Thank you Karen . . . I'd never grown it before, but a friend gave me cuttings. I put it under the Cotinus in the hope that the branches would support the Ammi (being a lazy gardener, lol) instead of me having to stake it. It's grown to 5ft and it's sort-of worked.

The garden looks lovely, Sheila. Love the trees in the pic with the balloon, and the Ammi growing up through the cotinus. I am very tempted to have some - I love umbelliferous plants, and it looks a lovely chunky one!

How pretty is that tub & I love your island bed :-)

Thanks Sheila!
Yes, your Ammi majus is very similar to my Queen Anne Lace, mistakenly id'ed by me as milkweed :/
Like how yours have multiple blooms from a single stem. Beautiful, especially with the cotinus.
Funny what you folks call your alcohol ;)))))

You know the meadow that slopes down to our garden, Sheila? Later in the year it will be covered with wild carrot - all those white heads waving in the breeze - a lovely sight!

Doesn't your lawn look wonderful? Ours is brown and crisp and looks more like a weed patch than grass. This time of year it makes me want to cry, but August will be worse.
I'm very impressed with your Ammi - aren't they supposed to be annuals?

Wow, I didn't expect so many lovely comments from you lovely people.
Thanks very much Mel - IF the Ammi sets seed I could save you some(?). Thanks so much Willi. Lol Lil!
Yes Nariz - and at eye level from your balcony I think?!
Thanks Gattina - lawn is mostly clover and moss, so don't look too closely. Yes, Ammi probably are annuals: I don't know for sure as they're new to me.

That would be great, Sheila - thanks!
