2nd August -

A (young) old chap down the road was talking to me this morning about allotments, i was telling him how im #63 on our local list and that i’d be really interested in viewing his 9yr plot.

This is his description, lets see what you come up with….

1/ I have homemade bean panelling around my plot.
2/ 2 large sheds and a Large greenhouse.
3/ A small caravan with a small stove to use in winter.

BUT there are a few weeds as i cant get up every week.

He then continued with….would you like to help me on mine, FREE! and take half the produce for your help.
Also design and organise the plot as you like.

So i said ok lets go n view it.

Plot 332 st anns allotment -

Ok my fault thinking it would be perfect, and how many of you were wrong :) but lets go for it :D lol.

Also there i picked up some fresh produce –

A few weeds I would say but this is a sign of good fertile soil. Bring it back to it's past glory.

Wow what a challenge, but what satisfaction too when you have made something of it.

Love the idea of the small caravan with a stove, you can be up there all weathers, lovely big greenhouse too, once you get the "few" weeds out you will be in an allotment paradise.. Happy digging :))))

Hmm, strimmer, hover mower etc. could well be helpful here! I thought ours was in a mess when we took it on earlier this year, but having seen this one, I count myself lucky ... lol! One day at a time, you'll get there eventually, good luck. :o)))

Good Luck to you with this venture - your new found friend will be so pleased when it is done.

I wish you well, judging by what you were able to take home it obviously has some good growing earth in amongst the weeds...
