Happy Christmas to you all. I hope you have had a lovely day so far.
Well its 4pm and we have yet to eat the turkey etc. In fact its still cooking. No I didnt get the timings wrong. My eldest girl is waitressing at the local old folks home [pub is doing the honours apparently] and she wont be home until 5pm. So we decided to eat lunch late.
I ve had presents of gardening stuff, knee pads, new wellies and cloggies [rubber clogs a bit like crocs but less holey]. The RHS books on pest & diseases and their ‘Latin for Gardeners’. I had wondered what was going to happen as I hadnt seen anything I would like. So 10/10 to OH. He is also getting some wrought iron bending tools so he can make me a rose arch of a good sturdy nature.
So its time to go and baste the bird again and think about laying the table.

Merry Christmas Seaburn, xmas dinner with the family is wonderful and enjoyable no matter what time you all sit down.....
I have a new posh Spiral, Alan Titchmarsh`s" My Secret Garden" a fabulous new Music System from my hubby, Jigsaw, Purse and OOOOODLES!!!!!!!!! of Garden Vouchers, (mega spend up when spring comes without the guilt)LOL...

Roll on the better weather. We had glorious sunshine pouring in the window when we sat down at 3pm. We had a call from South Island New Zealand, they are stifling in the heat and have water restrictions. Please send a water carrier to them with our love.
