Waiting for first blooms

I’m new to this forum and looking forward to meeting new passionate gardeners like myself. Looking for tips on how to deter disease and pests in the garden. Would also like some suggestions for prolific rose bushes that bloom all season with minimal disease potential. I don’t use pesticides because I’m encouraging wildlife.

The Michigan weather has been great the past few weeks with the exception of a couple of cold rainy days. The days are getting warmer and buds are sprouting on many of the rose bushes and other bushes in my garden. Lot’s of plants are coming up out of the ground and beginning to show their leafy selves. I need to plant some more things that will be early bloomers. My garden is at it’s peak in the first week of July. Will post some pictures later.

Looking forward to hearing from some of you. Any Michigan gardeners out there?

Sandy
