succulent bed 6 months later

In October I decided to steal a corner of our tunnel to plant some of my succulents in a bed just for them. After digging in lots of grit and sand I planted up lots of my little babies. The tunnel is not heated and this is an experiment to see what survived and what didn’t.

Six months later I am delighted with progress so far.

I am amazed how big everything has grown in just six months!!

I gave them a good watering today as they were very dry.

Can’t wait to see how they do in the summer..
Hope you enjoyed the pics..;-)

It is so nice to see them growing more naturally Janey..Oscularia deltoides pictures is misleading though the leaves are about a cm long. I just love the shape and it has lots of little pink flowers.

That's pretty impressive Sandra, considering how much of that time was winter. I like the little spiky one five from the bottom!

Thanks Stera I am thinking the same...if that's what it did in winter!!!! The spikey one is an aloe it has sent up so many babies, makes me think that it's very happy. :-)

That looks wonderful! There's nothing cheerier than thriving babies! this is the first winter that I've kept aloes and euphorbias looking like they are going to survive! How many frosty days have you had? (We're still up to our armpits in snow..and March is usually a wish-wash between snow and rain) I thought, at first glance, that you had put a muffler on one of them...then realized it was one of your wellies! How is the monkey puzzle?
