found this for you about honeysuckle, hope it helps ;o)
Growing honeysuckle in your garden really is easy.

Honeysuckle tends to be tolerant of most conditions but will not be happy if left to dry out. Mulch and water during hot summers to keep roots moist.

Likes full sun but will tolerate some shade - and will benefit from a little shade on the base of the plant when sun is very hot.

GT i had alady call tonight from up the street, she is minding the cat for a neighbour and thought it was lost as she hadnt seen it, she got my msg and came right over, was so pleased to see the cat, the owners are away which i find distressing with this endless rain and the cat isnt allowed to stay in the house while they are away, so no wonder she is with me all the time, they also have a kitten which is safely in the house and eats all the food left, they should either make sure there is access into the house or have the cat looked after in catery while away i thinks, i will be having a word when they are home, but glad ive found out, they are back tomorrow

yes hope mine survives winter to dawn, surpose to be hardy,

like this one janey, more spikey ;o))

i know what you ment Tugbrethil and so did the guys, they were just saying how it all is here and how the weather reacts different to them, they dont live in winter here so dont spread like other countries, so i personally think where you are and other warm climates they should be banned so to protect water ways, you didnt say anything wrong ;o)))
