missed this sorry donnahbut glad you were there to rescue this lovely bird,

 

lovely blog carole and lovely pictures of your trip, i just love the lakes and recognised some of the places there, baz and i will defernatly be going back next year and so close for us to, shame about the long drawn out coach trip though, very nice ;o))

thats good dotty, saw some at agricultural college today, small but only £1.50 but dont have the room to over winter so left it, im going to buy a couple next year to plant in pots either side of front door for a change ;o))

lol joan, i moved all my dead nettle as it was taking over, so moved a couple of plants and still have a couple of slots to fill hahah,but it all looks better, i have 6 heuchera now and another in mind when i get my voucher to spend on crocus, its a green laef heuchera im wanting, cant remember name though ;o))

looks beautiful richard, i love the log cabins, would like to have a break in one myself, away from it all, lovely pics of the big house to and flowers, i have the Dahlia in your first pic its a lovely one ;o))

 

thanx amy, they have a shop on site which they sell what the students grow, so normally a little cheaper than garden centre, this was £4 compared to £6.99 at GC, but i just loved the frilly edge, aparently gets frilly as winter comes ;o)
