Some more pictures of the flower borders.

As some of the flowers seem to be finishing early because of being battered by the torrential rain we keep having, I thought I would take these photos while they are at their best!

I can’t remember if this is the Ballerina rose as I have had it for such a long time.
I am actually in the back way now of the garden and have various pots of trees and large shrubs along the fence.
As I come out of the back, along the side are my new window boxes full of surfinias and Agapanthus in a raised bed.
I don’t do much to the Agapanthus at all, apart from dead heading when they have finished flowering and then tidying up in the autumn.

The Agapanthus have been so lovely this year, so must survive better on neglect! Haha!
So, as I come out of the back and past the rose garden, I have two Trachlespermum which are starting to climb at last!

As we walk through one of the rose arches, the flower garden is looking good at the moment. I am pleased with the shape of it now and won’t need to take any more lawn! My hubby will be so pleased !
I can’t resist as I just have to put in more flowers , but this is definitely it! Really!! Haha!

I don’t think I will be bothering anymore with the Ammi Majus as it needed a lot of support and will probably be seeding everywhere but the right place!

Achillea and a Veronica.

I still have plenty of pictures to take, but that will be another day ! When the rain stops!!
Take care my friends and keep safe!

Rose you have definitely caught these plants at their best! Your hydrangeas are really gorgeous and the first white one is spectacular.

Your agapanthus are so lovely and I really like your final photo - it is very pretty.

Lovely to see photos of your garden, I hope it lasts a while yet even though the weather is poor.

I love the look of your 'back' garden Rose. It's so full of colour. The agapanthus are stunning as for that potted rose...wow!

It looks so colourful Rose, yours shrubs look amazing and so healthy, I love that rose so many blooms to admire, is it a scented one ?. I envy you the agapanthus, sadly I lost mine, poor thing never did really recover from when we removed the old apple tree yet everything else in the bed does really well.
Would you believe my garden is as hard and as dry as dust, we had rain every day for two weeks, sometimes very hard, not enough to fill the waterbutts but the plants look fine and the grass is green, the wind was drying it up as fast as it was falling..

Thanks Julia!
Thank you Seaburng.
You should Paul! You won't regret it, although as it gets bigger, it needs staking!
Thanks Chris! I love the hydrangeas and the varied weather we have had must suit them! I love the Agapanthus, but wish they would flower longer!
Thank you Waddy! The rose is the best it has ever looked this year!
Thanks Sue! Sadly , no perfume on that rose!
It's a shame about your Agapanthus! It has carried on every year despite what the weather throws at it!
The weather has been the same here Sue, but the plants just carry on !
Thank you Anget!
