all my potatoes are covered with blemishes and are misshapen, will they be o.k. to eat and what has caused this. all types are affected but the redskin ones more than others?

....and not just odd looking potatoes that the supermarkets throw out....have you ever grown a perfect cucumber like you can buy in supermarkets ?....I havn´t, mine have most weird shapes at times.
