How & when to prune overgrown Berberidopsis. Growing and blooming well but very long drooping branches.

Prune in spring if neccessary, do it over 2-3 years, taking about 1/3 of the branches you don,t want each year, and feed afterwards, they don,t particularly like being pruned,
so don,t take too much at one time, Derek.
