Hi
I am trying to grow courgettes. When the flower appears and the courgette starts to form, the end rots away before they are ready to be harvested. I have noticed black things on the plants, Is it these black things that are causing this and how do I get rid of them please

Loads of people have reported the same - it's quite normal and the courgettes will form properly given time. Mine were exactly the same. Just twist the rotton ones off. As for the black things - don't worry - mine have been chewed by slugs and snails but the plants seem to be coping.
