How do I prune a cordyline

Looks as if it's suffered a bit from drought, by the brown tips on the leaves. You just need to get a sharp pair of largish scissors, get under the plant and trim off at the trunk the dead or tatty leaves. You can also trim off dead tips on live leaves if you want.
