Needles on my christmas tree are falling off

I have got three Christmas trees in big pots I have had them two years with on problams, but the last two weeks one started to lose needles now all trees have started, so I thought I will put them in bigger pots I always water them if thay start to dry out a little, do you think this will help thank you very much, Chris

Possibly, but giving them a good soak often enough would be even better! Usual cause is too much heat and not enough water - they're thirsty plants.

i agree with bamboo, and also check for aphids too, they can also be a problem.

Thank you very much there are no aphids.on the trees the root ball looks good as well.

because the needles are falling off now doesn't mean that the damage has been done now, it could have been done some time ago and is only just showing it to you.

My Christmas tree suffered the same problem last year, A GOY member suggested it was spider mite and there was evidence of webs. I treated with a chemical spray product and frequently drenched the upper plant with water which cured the problem. My tree is now healthy and showing new growth.
