It is growing in a small pot and I would like to know if it will grow better in the garden and also if I can take cuttings from it.
Thankyou
Thanks to everyone who has answered this question .

Hi,
It's a campanula, very pretty, also known as Canterbury Bells I think. I'd put it in the ground, cos I'm lazy and it wouldn't need me to remember watering it. But probably fine in a pot too.

You can propagate from seed very easily

it is a campanula but its not what i know as a canterbury bell. is it C.persicifolia?
you can divide the clump in spring or autumn or as mg says grow from seed. they are an easy garden plant [so free it from its pot lol ] and they last for several years too :o)

Keep deadheading the flowers and they will go on flowering for a good while.
