Soil improvers

My garden has very heavy, slow draining and stony soil. Is there anything I can add to improve it? Thank you Ann

And anything humus rich - soil conditioning compost from the garden centre, spent mushroom compost, your own garden compost, composted animal manures (as suggested above), leaf mould, anything you can get hold of like that, and as much as you can afford.
