Hi, I,ve just repotted (with help!) a massive and beautiful camelia. It was long overdue and very potbound so I had to try and pull out the solid mass of roots which had taken on the barrel's shape. As It's already stressed but still top heavy (biggest available barrel, won't survive in my chalky soil) should I prune it a bit now or not?

It would be a good time of year to prune a camelia, they don't seem to mind at all and it would give you a chance to re-shape it.

Thanks Lizziebee
I decided to cut it down a bit at the top as it was really too tall.
