been for a long walk along the thamews path between putney and hammersmith bridge and there are numerous large trees with pendulous pods giving off cotton which is carried on the wind and lies coating the side of the walk like snow...i have never seen the likes of it before anywhere in england...the leaf is like a beech, help please.
