hi and good afternoon.
would it be ok to separate my clementis by cutting the hanging on stems which holds the plant together.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks mark:)))))

You can try Mark. but I find they are so delicate that trying to separate does too much damage at this stage. I tried cutting the tendrils rather than pulling apart but still managed to damage the stems. Better to enjoy it for now and next season start from pruning/regrowth to keep the stem more apart but you will need a wider support to?

I have the same problem they seem to grow overnight once they start,and once they have twined you can't seperate them without damage, I have been cross with myself a few times for not leaving them and broke off stems...lesson learnt for both of us for next year mark.

Hi all thank you so much for the help.I am going to leave it now till next year and then i will try and train it to go across the fence.I really dont want to do any damage as it looks so nice.:)))))
