They sure it was slug pellets? I use them and the frogs, Hedgehog and local cats are looking healthy (next door takes in rescued cats). Cats eating Lily bulbs can poison them and can kill them within a week as well as other plants. Unless the cat ate lots of pellets then I find it difficult, but not impossible, to believe that they killed it.

Hi Kildermorie - yes pretty sure was the pellets - friend and dog living at her mums at the moment as she split with her partner last year......her mum put the pellets down yesterday and Jess managed to eat them :(
