thanks ladies - I hope it is the honeysuckle - I had huge hypericum but chopped it down last year.
, still have little ones I saved around garden so you never know i could have popped it in there on the other hand - I vaguely remember buying a sick plant which could be this fella - will let you know what it turns into

I'm sure its hyperucum - rose of sharon. Not the best garden shrub but a good do-er as they say.

I think its hypericum too-dig it out now angie and replace it with something nicer(and I make no apologies to hypericum lovers!)

Yeh think it's def a hypericum - you're so right mageth it's gotta go - i was glad to see the back of the monster one I had last year.- think I might replant it in the side entrance which noone sees - I use this area for sick plants and stuff I don't like !!!

Ace solution: dig it out then and replace with... honeysuckle!

What a good idea weeding - I lost sleep about this liitle fella and have decided to keep him for a bit longer - however if he turns out like his daddy I am in trouble - I just realised that when my husband dug it out last year (the daddy) that was probaly when he killed it's neighbour (see my dead or alive question) = god I can ramble on .......

How do I say thanks?
