What is the best time to move Black Bamboo
United Kingdom 
We are having an extension built in June and this necessitates moving Black Bamboo. Can you advise the best way to go about it please.

As bamboo is a grass, I feel you would be safe at any time as long as you take the normal precautions, feed, water etc. What little I know about bamboo tells me this is the perfect opportunity to split it if too thickly set or simply to have more. Good luck with the extension and bamboo!
