Hi there After four years our "palm" has burst into clusters of small yellow "buds" Can you please advise (a) what the palm is called and (b) what the clusters of "buds" are? Thank you. John.

Would have been useful to see the leaves properly, but I'm 99.9% certain its Trachycarpus fortunei and these are the flowers. There's a photo in my Photos of a large one in flower 2 years ago...

I would say trachycarpus too, mine is getting ready to flower as well, funny though, with the very cold winter last year, it had almost finished flowering by this time,
this year with a mild winter and summer temperatures in march, and back to winter in april, it,s flowering later, Derek.

How do I say thanks?
