Runner Beans - I set 12 seeds in pots 3 weeks ago and only two have germinated into sturdy little plants! They were last years seeds and sown in same conditions so what have I done wrong? Also is it too soon to plant more seeds outdoors (in Norfolk)? I never had this problem before in 12 years of growing beans

Answers
If stored in warm, humid conditions, such as an outdoor shed in summer, seeds lose their germination ability quite quickly.

Maybe just get some fresh seeds? Sow straight outside, 2 to a pole and go for it :)
