i planted my leeks late last year and they are only the size of my thumb now. will they go to seed if left any longer or will they keep growing for now

Leeks need a growing season in order to bulk up. You can either wait and see if they develop this year or eat baby veg! They may run up to flower, though, but the flowers are amazing and the bees love them. This year start them off sooner, like now!
