It depends upon what what and where you are going to grow them.
If you are growing them as a bush then its a No!
If you are growing them as a cordon then it is a Yes!
If you are growing out side you would be better growing them as a bush.
If you grow them under glass you can grow them both ways, but I would suggest as a cordon.
