When and how are you pruning them? Are they in sunshine or shade?

What compost are they in and are you feeding them? A high potash feed asap may help. (Should really be done in Feb.)

Suspect they are pot bound, need a good feed and even more water.

General fertilisers have a balance of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Potassium (potash) is the one that helps the formation of flowers and fruit and you can often buy it separately. However when I tried this spring I found the price of a granular one had shot up beyond what I'm prepared to pay so will put on a general one like Growmore instead. Tomato fertilizer is an example of a liquid high potash feed and this is why its used on fruit and flowers through the summer. You wouldn't use a liquid one on fruit bushes at this time of year though. Potash is highly water soluble and is easily washed out of the soil. Would it be possible to plant them in the ground?
