We have recently moved and I have just scratch raked the lawn. This has produced a lot of moss with the dethatched material. Should I avoid putting this in the compost bin?

You can use the moss to line hanging baskets. Not sure about composting. I'd think it could be put in but not all at once. There have been previous questions about this. Try M on the alphabetical list at the bottom?
