Our Strelitzia has finished flowering advise on our to treat it now please

It has flower for the first time in 8 years, will it flower every year now or do we have to wait another 8 years?

It should flower ever year or so now. Mine is in flower at the moment, and its previous flowering was about May 2007, ie nearly 2 years ago. Before that it flowered in early 2006.
Aren't the flowers spectacular.
