Hi Again, Anyone got any details about the gel which is in the plug plant containers you get when buying small plug plants. ??
Can it be bought or made ??

you can buy water retaining crystals and you mix it into the compost.
one of the plug sets i got suggested adding the gel to the compost as i was potting them on.
funnily enough one of the gel packs has gone all liquidy dont know if it is due to the higher temperature in the grrenhouse.
