Hi, I have grown a mango sapling (6ft) indoors from seed - and it is about 4-5 years old without bloom yet. Is there something more I need to do to nurture it and make it bloom, or do you need a male and female to get fruit from mangos? The seed was either an alphonso or kesar variety. Would also be interested to know if it requires a particular type of soil. Window is south facing so gets sun all day.
