What out door plant flowers in october, my dog died a few days ago and i would like to plant some lovely flowers on his grave that flowers around the time he died .

If you go to your local garden centre they will have a large range of cyclamen and pansies in flower now ( very tempting ) and either would make a quick and easy display.

So sorry to hear of your loss its so hard to lose a beloved pet. I agree with Inverglen if you go a to a GC or nursery and pick a perennial or shrub that is in flower now, such as an Anemone, one of the 'Pretty ladies' or one of my favs is Autumn flowering bulb is Schizostylis or 'Kaffir Lily' 'Fenland Daybreak' a very pretty pink. and of course Chrysanthemums will give great mixed or single colour
