hi i have room in my boarders to fill which is sort of clay would i be able to sow some anual seeds to fill the gaps if i can what seeds can i sow thanks

On my clay soil snapdragons, cosmos, calendula, larkspur, nasturtiums, california poppies, poppies, batchelors buttons, marigold, sea holly and love in a mist all grow like crazy.

hi sunshines, what about the following: snapdragons, clarkia, stocks, nigella, molluca [bells of ireland] cosmos, larkspur. they can all be sprinkled straight onto the raked soil. all give lots of colour. i am sure there are lots of ideas to come your way from other members.
