The tree is grown in ground been there since i planted it approx 15 years ago ,
I started to lope off a few branches all dead,so i have cut alltop branches off hopping it will sprout from bottom next year ,thanks to all who looked at my problem tree

How long have you had it, is it growing in the ground or in a pot, or in a small amount of soil? Is the picture above how it looks right now? What part of the UK are you in, and a closer up shot of the tree, leaves and branches, would be helpful.
