Think they are Phlox. Dian.

Or perhaps campanula like c.glomerata Superba or c. trachelium Bernice?

definitely phox probably panniculata but I dont know which variety.

Amazingly its a familiar looking plant :D I'd agree that its a phlox. Its looks fairly similar to mine which is Flame Purple Eye (according to the plant label). Difficult to be sure though as I can't see the plant very clearly. I have one or two photos of my Phlox uploaded onto the site if you want to have a look Dian.

Looks like phlox to me too - I've got a tall white one.
