I have a TAMARIX TETRANDA plant,I am lead to believe that you don't prune the plant. Can any one advise on taking cuttings and when.

Hardwood cuttings in autumn, preferably rooted in a sandy medium - plant out the following year. However, its not true that you don't prune this plant - unless you want a gawky looking tree, this one should be pruned immediately after flowering, in spring.
