Could someone give me the name of this shrub please.It is deciduous and in flower now(August) It also suckers a lot,

Thank you so much Andrew.The name now seems familiar.Bought the shrub many years ago.When in flower it seems attractive with the blue green leaves.Have to keep it under control......Read that you live near Reading.I have a sister who lives at Emmer Green,near Henley.

Its planted under leylandii trees,so doesn't have much moisture and quite compacted by other shrubs.Still love it though!

I had one of these, but dug it out after I'd had so many warnings about it's suckering tendencies! It's lovely Meadowland.
