Hi, could someone please tell me when the garden centres will start stocking winter pansies?

Last year I had the display in the first photo, which after some regular miracle-gro turned in to the second photo.

I had neighbours taking photos last yaer.

This year I would like to grow yellow panises with orange violas.

How gorgeous! Have you seen the bicolour orange and purple ones? I saw some pansies the other day but it didn't say whether they were summer or winter ones.

I have seen pictures of orange and purple biclour pansies. They are nice.

It's September before my local GCs get them in.
They are beginning to have what they call autumn pansies now.

Yes, September, so only a few weeks to wait.

Do pansies not grow and flower all year round? they do in my garden!!!

Same in mine Sheilar. I bought several large trays of winter pansies that were knocked down in price twice over a couple of years ago (excellent timing of a visit to B&Q) and their descendents are still flowering all over the garden - all year round. What a bargain!

How do I say thanks?
