when to sow lupins....friend gave me lupin seeds last yr,tried to do them but nothing came through,when is best time to sow and any special treatments to help germinate thanks guys...mike

If the seed is ripe and fresh from your own plants you could sow them now into small pots of seedling compost - safer than in the ground because slugs and snails will demolish the young growth.
If the seed is a bought packet, there will be guidance on it. Lupin seed generates fairly easily.
