my clamentis has flowerd and now there is just the stalks left of the flowers , should i remove theres to encorage more flowers to grow

You can if you want, but some clematis have attractive seedheads, so depends which variety you've got.

I love the seed heads on our C montana and wouldn't consider removing but some of the newer cultivars don't have attractive seed heads... it will be a labour of love to remove them all and you wont get more flowers this year.
