Can anyone tell me why my baby courgettes go rotten at the tips, just below the drying flower, and fail to mature?
I know to water only at the base of each plant to reduce white fungus on the leaves, but relly haven't had to water this year. it's a puzzle and a significant loss.

Hi, thanks. They do grow a bit, but maybe you are right..I'll keep watch later in the season. We've been enjoying them for a week now, beautiful.

They are not being fertilized by insects yet but they soon will be so don't lose heart. The same thing happened to mine a couple of weeks ago but they have now taken off and we are eating them.
